Malin Maria Akerman, a Swedish singer and actress, was born on 12 May 1978 in Stockholm. Born in Ontario and raised there. Akerman is well-known for her part in Watchmen as the character Laurie Jovian/Silk Spectre II. Akerman has also appeared as Lara Axelrod in the infamous television show Billions. In the film Guardians as well as Deplorability, she is known as a character in scenes when she is naked. Akerman started out as modeling model, before moving to acting. Her career has taken her across a range of television and film projects. Her most memorable roles are Silk Spectre II from the Watchmen film adaptation, and Lara Axelrod from the TV series Billions.
